Mr. Guernica has been a financial consultant and advising clients for over 35 years, from his early years as a management trainee and commercial credit analyst at Southeast Bank, later as a CPA associate of a multi service CPA firm specializing in International tax in Coral Gables and for the last 20 years as the founder of Guernica & Associates a multi service CPA firm. He graduated from the University of Miami in 1983 with a BBA degree major in accounting, he has been a licensed CPA in the state of Florida since 1989, and in 1998 he earned an MS degree in Taxation from Florida International University and has been a certified valuation analyst since 2012.

Mileny has been working for Guernica & Associates for over 9 years. She is our payroll tax specialist but also assists in all areas of the firm, including administrative duties. Mileny is also the pretty and friendly face that greets our clients when they arrive. Mileny is presently furthering her career by attending accounting courses at Miami-Dade College.
Loreli Mendez

Anita is our most senior staff, She has been with us for over 12 years. Anita is adept in Quickbooks and handles and manages our accounting and tax preparation for our business clients. Anita has a major in accounting from Florida International University 2008, MS degree in taxation from Nova Southeastern University 2012 and is presently sitting for the CPA exam.
Esmeralda Valdes
Tax Senior
Loreli is a recent and valuable addition to our firm. With over 10 years’ experience in the accounting industry, Loreli is adept in preparing partnership returns, corporate tax returns for privately held corporations; S-corporation returns for privately held businesses; trust and gift tax returns; multistate tax returns; and the individual tax returns related to these entities.
Representing clients before the IRS for audits and other controversial areas is her strong suit and she enjoys handling our accounting and tax preparation for our new business clients. Loreli has a Master's in Accounting from St. Thomas University.
Esmeralda has been a part of the Guernica & Associates team for 3 years. She has over 7 years’ experience in the accounting industry. Esmeralda is adept in Quickbooks and handles and manages our accounting and tax preparation for our business clients. Esmeralda has a Bachelor in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation from Florida International University.
